Basic Maintenance
PPL personnel will provide high quality planned maintenance which will maintain equipment performance. Regular planned maintenance will identify potential problems, allowing the Customer to plan repairs, or replace the equipment. The Maintenance Services will also maximise the effective life of the Equipment. The Customer will also have 24 hour phone access to Power Protection for Emergency Support.
Comprehensive Maintenance

- Carry out performance checks on the UPS equipment
- Provide any necessary modifications to the UPS system software designed to enhance the operation of the current features of the existing equipment.

Capacitor and Fan Replacements
UPS use large internal capacitor banks made up of both DC electrolytic and AC film capacitors that degrade over time. Capacitors can and do fail unexpectedly. Proactive servicing by replacing a complete bank of capacitors is strongly recommended. Knowing how to get the most out of your UPS capacitors and when to replace them requires knowledge of your site UPS and the factory-trained technicians at Power Protection Ltd have this knowledge. Power Protection Ltd will work with you to proactively replace your capacitors, helping you to maximise the service life for your UPS and avoid unplanned downtime. Capacitor and fan replacements are available for all Centiel Cumulus, Stratos and Premium tower models as well as ABB / Newave Powerwave, Powerscale and Powervalue and Chloride UPS.
